This is the 64th Indonesia Independence Day celebration in Stavanger, Norway on Saturday, Aug 15th 2009 (2 days earlier than the actual day due to weather/timing issue). The celebration took place in a student common room at the UiS dorm complex in Ugleveien. About 50 people turned up and lots of Indonesian food were served. The weather didn't want to celebrate with us but, nevertheless, it's always nice to meet other Indonesians, sing together, watch sag race, and eat lots and lots of tasty, spicy, crunchy, fatty (every once a year..), greasy, milky, and saucy Indonesian food!! Selamat ultah Indonesia!!
